Many of our churches are the result of a burden in believers in another church nearby. They may have wanted a church in their neighborhood or a pastor may have desired to go back home and start a church. Starting a church from ground zero is a daunting task but one which is made more doable and enjoyable when churches work together to extend their ministry into a new area. Every attempt to start a church requires prayer, people, a place and money. Every existing church can contribute something to such an effort with the result being the birthing of a brand new local piece of the Body of Christ.
